Chapter 1: This story depicts the daily lives of a master ney player, a businesswoman, and an English bar owner living in Istanbul. Ferit Yılmaz is a skilled ney maker. While playing the ney, he also plays the kudüm (a type of drum) with his feet. He is trying to release an album of Turkish folk music pieces performed on the ney, using his own resources. Ümit Orman is a crazy Tarkan fan who successfully runs the factory founded by his father. He tries to ease the pain of a terrible traffic accident he suffered by listening to Tarkan’s songs. Peter Robertson, an Englishman, is trying to attract customers to his Irish bar in Beyoğlu and is in contact with the municipality and filmmakers to have the street where his bar is located, which used to house old film companies, restored.
Chapter 2: Mukadder is a businesswoman in the leather industry. She struggled for many years to become a mother and finally gave birth to twin sons. After her difficult journey to motherhood, she has dedicated herself to supporting prospective mothers who want to have children but cannot conceive naturally. Lavissa is a 50-year-old aristocratic Russian woman who came to Istanbul after the collapse of the Soviet Union to find work. She earns a living by giving piano lessons and singing in the Orthodox Church choir. Cem is a young whirling dervish. On one hand, he is a Fenerbahçe fanatic, and on the other, he is a whirling dervish. Ignoring the criticism of his long hair and earrings, he tries to make Mevlana’s philosophy a way of life.
