Associate Professor Dr. Mustafa Çağan Keskin, a lecturer in Architectural History at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Architecture, examines the architectural features and the relationship it establishes with people by conducting classes at the Süleymaniye Mosque with his students. The students, in turn, make observations and create drawings.
The documentary also features Yulia Ilieva, a Turkish Orthodox photographer of Bulgarian origin, who, through photographs of the mosque for his book and a conversation with a volunteer, reveals the universal nature of the Suleymaniye Mosque, which appeals to different faiths and cultures.
