The film invites its audience on the journey of the kemençe and horon, which have a magical power for the Black Sea people, from Turkey to Greece. The main character, Adem from Beşköy, is a young musician with a traditional lifestyle, a devout Muslim whose mother tongue is Greek. After his early youth in Istanbul, Adem returned to his hometown of Sürmene, Trabzon, and today, while living in his village with his wife and 3 children, he organizes concerts with his musician friends from Turkey and Greece, and organizes events in many countries to keep alive the traditions of the common cultural past. With his sympathetic and unifying character and music, Adem “goes where his heart takes him”, quietly breaking the chains of prejudice and writing stories of hope for the future.
