Harvest of Light

In Evren district of Ankara, there is a community of seasonal workers. These workers, who come to Ankara with their families for the onion harvest, struggle to cope with various difficulties while trying to make ends meet.

The documentary, Harvest of Light, revolves around a generator that operates for only two hours a day, used metaphorically as a beacon of hope in the film. Within this short time, the workers tell their own stories amidst the complexities of labor, perseverance, and the struggle to hold onto life.
