Samet is a young art teacher who dreams of being transferred to Istanbul after completing four years of compulsory service in a remote village in Eastern Anatolia. He shares a house with his colleague, social studies teacher Kenan. Among Samet’s students is 14-year-old Sevim, with whom he is close. When another staff member finds a love letter to Samet, adorned with hearts, in Sevim’s notebook, both Samet and Sevim are humiliated. Sevim, furious after discovering Samet lied about destroying the letter, is devastated. Samet’s dreams are shattered when he and Kenan become the target of a sexual abuse accusation.
